This is the twelfth in a series of 24 linked patterns to be published daily in December 2016. The pattern for the box shaped like a book is published separately.

The last thing to go in the room before it can be put together is a little picture on the side wall. This is decorated with buttons. I used little gingerbread people buttons but you could use whatever you can find.

This pattern also deals with the first stage of assembling the book so that half of it is finished.
