The Myrna Sweater
Spring, a time where life begins again! Traditionally, spring is known as the season of rebirth, rejuvenation and new beginnings. The Myrna Sweater is a symbolic representation of the beginning of spring. The body which is thick with stitches is the ice formed on the surface of lakes. As you move towards the yoke, the ice melts and breaks, letting in the breeze. Then we gradually move onto the slit of the sleeves, telling you that before you know it, summer will be here!
This sweater is constructed in panels. We will first create the two panels and the two sleeves, and finally sew them together. Suggested to use a fingering weight yarn and lace weight mohair held together. Pattern is written in standard US terms. Pattern measures in inches. It is written with 1 to 4 inches of positive ease.
