About this pattern:
I grew up on a farm in the south west of Sweden, on this farm all the fields have their own names, these names are probably several hundred years old. One of the fields is called Holmagärde, and has now given its name to this mitten with meandering flowers.

The mitten has estonian braids on the cuff och a gusset for the thumb.
