The Mervyn Dressy Jumper
This pattern is
available for free.
This little jumper is knitted in Ardern’s “Star Sylko,” No. 3. It is very simple to make, and looks most effective with its square pattern and plaits round waist, neck, and sleeves. One great consideration is that it can be washed time after time, and always goes back into position and looks like new.
Materials, required.:—8 2oz. balls of Ardern’s “Star Sylko,” No. 3, white: 1 2oz. ball of Ardern’s “Star Sylko” No. 5 white; 1 pair steel needles, size 10; 1 medium-sized steel hook; 1½ yards white silk.
Measurements:—Half width of jumper, 24in.; length of sleeve from shoulder to hem, 12in.
