I was watching the 4th season of Stranger Things and realized it would be so much fun to try and recreate a piece of clothing from the show with crochet! Since I love color but like to keep it simple, I decided to go with Max’s blue, yellow & white track style jacket! This is a simple design with minimal sewing that will keep you interested throughout the entire process!

Difficulty Level: I would consider this an easy crochet pattern, perfect for advancing beginners looking for a challenge and the chance to learn some new skills!

Sizing: This design is written with inclusive sizing for XXS/XS, XS/S, S/M, M/L, L/XL, XL/2X, 2X/3X, 3X/4X, & 4X/5X AND has LOTS of photos to guide you as well as a few video tutorials to help walk you through certain steps of the process.

I also include a full measurement guide at the end of the pattern with photos of my testers in their jackets, along with which size they made and their body measurements to help you choose the right size for you!

Estimated Chest diameter of completed jacket: XXS/XS (34.5”), XS/S (38.5”), S/M (42”), M/L (46.5”), L/XL (50.5”) XL/2X (54.5”), 2X/3X(58.5”), 3X/4X(62.5”), 4X/5X(65.5”)

I’ve also included a printer friendly version of this pattern that you will be able to download as well. This version has the text instructions only (no photos). I am continuing to try and make my patterns better and better so if you see a way I could improve please let me know! :)

Yarn: Bulky/Chunky (5) Weight yarn. You can also double up a worsted (4) weight yarn for this project, just be sure to check your gauge! - I chose to use Universal Yarn Deluxe Bulky Superwash for my jacket, you can find this yarn here: https://universalyarn.com/collections/yarn/products/dbs?a...

You will also find a yarn recommendations page at the end of the pattern with a full list of bulky (5) weight yarn that would work well for this pattern. This is great if you don’t use bulky yarn often and aren’t sure where to start when picking out the yarn for your project!

Additional Materials Needed:
• Size 8mm & 10mm Crochet Hooks
• Tapestry Needle and scissors
• Optional Zipper–once you complete your jacket you can measure your front borders to see how long you need your zipper to be!
