The Magic Raglan
This seamless, top-down raglan with dropped front neck is made with circular needles and any yarn.
Calculations for the pattern are based on your gauge coupled with basic body measurements, including neck, diagonal raglan measurement from neck edge to underarm, body length below the underarm, sleeve length and wrist measurement.
You will need two sizes of circular needles appropriate to your yarn. You will need 16” and 27” lengths for the body of the sweater, as well as the same lengths in two sizes smaller for the neck and body ribbing. The lower portion of the sleeve calls for 11” circulars, and double points in the smaller size are used for the sleeve ribbing.
