The Luna Blanket
Pattern difficulty: Intermediate.
Due to many color changes and the use of a grid, this pattern may be tricky for beginners. If you are familiar with working with grids and working with several color changes, this pattern would be relatively simple to complete.
Your finished throw will measure about 42” x 50” not including any decorative border you may want to add.
You will need:
Approx. 1,500 yards of light worsted weight (4) yarn in your main color and approx 200 yards each of the same yarn in 4 secondary colors: sage/mint green, white, brown, and mustard.
Note: I used Lion Brand Heartland and Caron Simply Soft yarns for my blanket. Red Heart Soft also works well for this pattern. You may substitute with any worsted weight yarn, but your blanket will be a bit heavier and you may want to use a smaller hook to ensure your blanket reaches the correct finished size--or if you don’t mind the blanket being bigger you can ignore the gauge and use an H hook anyway. More room for snuggling up!
Size H/5mm crochet hook
Scissors
Yarn needle
Measuring tape
Stitches used:
Chain (ch)
Single crochet (sc)
