If you are looking for a quick and satisfying colorwork knit, then The Imogen Socks will be the perfect project for you! Using classic fair isle techniques and integrated striping, the socks really shine when the knitter uses two contrasting colors of yarn. The German Short Row Heel creates a perfect balance with the ankle length, and creating a beautifully fitting (and still attractive) sock.

This pattern is recommended for the intermediate knitter who is familiar with colorwork/stranded knitting and basic shaping techniques.

Tutorials are available for reference in the pattern for German Short Rows and best practice for Colorwork Dominance.

Instructions for sizes Small, Medium, and Large are included in the pattern, as well as information on how to adjust for the perfect length of your sock.

Materials Needed to complete sock:

2 contrasting colorways of yarn, Sock Weight (1) about 50 – 75 grams of the Main Color and 20 grams of the Secondary Color.

Ruler/ Measuring Tape

US Size 1 9 inch circular/ DPN’s / Magic Loop OR size that meets gauge

US Size 2 9 inch circular/DPN’s. Magic Loop, OR one size up from gauge
