The Illusionist Socks
This model is called The Illusionist because it seems to be knitted in Fairisle but it’s not! This is a simple “magic trick” very easy to achieve by slipping stitches in some strategic places!
♥ ♠ ♣ ♦
This pattern can be worked with a set of 5 double-pointed needles or on circular needles. For double-pointed needles, please divide half the stitches on needles 1 and 2 and the other half of the stitches on the needles 3 and 4.
In addition to the pattern, you will need the following to work this project:
♥ 2 skeins of Biscotte Yarns: Lumos self-striping shown in color “Shadow” (50g) and Bis-Sock self-striping shown in color “Burning Love”
♥ DPN or circular needles US #1.5 (2.5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
♥ 1 tapestry needle
