When something smart, but not necessarily tailored, is required, this hip-length tunic will fit the bill. It. It would look best knitted in pastel
shades, a deeper tone being introduced by the large buckle which adds a note of chic to the wide belt. The body of the tunic is knitted in stocking stitch, the knots being quite simply made. Special features of the garment, which make it suitable for formal afternoon wear at home, are the raglan sleeves and the absence of wide bands at neck, hem or wrists.
Materials Required. 11ozs. three-ply crochet wool, 1 pair No. 10 needles, 1 wooden buckle.
