The Gentleman's Ginger
The patriarch of this house is Mr. Henry Morgan. No one would ever guess that a kind, thoughtful person such as he would own the meanest cat on the property. You can almost see this cat’s hair standing on end and his tail getting fuller as he arches his back to hiss at another cat.
The arched back is created with short row “wedges” that are inserted in between straight rounds. Stripes are easy to incorporate and the placement of them as pictured is noted in the pattern, but can easily be customized a different way.
The Gentleman’s Ginger is 13 inches tall at its highest point, and 15 inches long from head to tail when knit with recommended yarn weight and needle size.
