Materials:
–2 Skeins of Red Heart Super Saver Black (744 yards each skein)
–1 Skein of Red Heart Super Saver in Medium Thyme, Aran, Buff, Warm Brown
–1 Skein of Red Heart With Love in Berry Red
-Size H-5.00mm Crochet Hook. (for larger sizes, I recommend an I-5.50mm Crochet Hook)
-Buttons. (You can get the same buttons as me by clicking here)
-Yarn Needle
-Scissors
NOTES:
-This pattern is in American crochet terms.
-The cardigan that I made measures: Shoulders: 16 inches, Arm Length: 25 inches, Length of sweater: 37 inches
–Recommendation: I would use softer yarn for this project (Caron Simply Soft or Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice). The yarn I used was quite stiff and bulky.
For Larger Sizing:
My recommendations for larger sizes would be to use a larger crochet hook as well as making more rounds on your granny squares. Working a repeat of round 6 once or twice should make your squares larger. You may also make this longer by adding more squares to the length of your cardigan. You could also add a whole panel down the center back (so you would have 5 panels instead of 4) – then decrease accordingly for the collar.

1 square is 6 inches x 6 inches
