The Kinship Square is Square 38 for The Friendship Blanket CAL.

It can be used alone as a pattern for wash cloths, coasters, etc., as well as being a part of the afghan crochet-a-long.

This square is an easy skill level. You need to know how to chain, single crochet and double crochet. The pattern has photos and a video tutorial to teach you how to work the crossed double crochet.

The pattern is worked back and forth in rows with a two row repeat.

A 5mm (H) hook
Medium (4) yarn of your choice, approximately 80-85 yards or 1.5 ounces.
