The Eleanor Portal Capelet and Scarf
The capelet/poncho is worked in the round, from the bottom up, with no seaming required. It utilizes a stretchy, rib-based stitch pattern, that allows the garment to mold to multiple body sizes in just one simple version. It is as comfortable and easy to wear as any shawl, and makes an invaluable accessory piece suitable for year round wear. It’s a simple knit, yet it creates a seemingly complex textured fabric. The stitch pattern is written and charted for ease of use. The scarf pattern coordinates with the capelet and adds an elegant finish around your neck.
