The easiest shawl pattern in the world. If you can do the “Granny’s Favorite Dishcloth”, you can make this shawl.

I used exactly one skein of the Caron Cakes Yarn, which made a 50” by 20” shawl, about 380 yards, using size 9 needles.

If you want the same color block look without the Caron Cake you can always do a little stashbusting by changing colors every 8 or so rows.

Use different color stitch markers as a key to which row is a “yarnover” row, or is it a row with just plain knitting. It is tremendously helpful, especially if you want to knit and watch tv at the same time.
