The first design, Emily, is reversible, using two colours and the design combines moss stitch and a cable panel and fits round the teapot, fastening at the top with two wooden buttons. It uses 5mm needles and you need two 100g skeins of Artesano Aran, as you use two colours.

The second design, Amy, is in the same unique cable pattern as the Amy hot water bottle (John Lewis AW11 Collection), and is a quick knit in two pieces using 5mm needles and one skein of yarn.

Using left over yarn, you can quickly knit up a co-ordinating mug warmer or two, with a loop and wooden button fastening.
