The Aran Pullover
The Aran Pullover pattern was created out of a simple desire: an easy to customise unisex fit pullover in stockinette that is fully seamed. I was personally struggling to find one for myself and so decided to write and grade a pattern to fit a range of sizes.
Pattern Notes:
- This pattern is knit flat from the bottom up and fully seamed
- Tubular Cast-ons are suggested for this pattern and instructions for these are included in the pattern
- Gauge is critical for this pattern and it is important to swatch
- Sleeve lengths as written in the pattern will be longer than most as the pattern is graded for a unisex fit. There is a calculator included in the pattern to ensure the correct fit for your body. Please refer to the calculator before casting on your sleeves for the best outcome
- Armscyes are deeper in the larger sizes as the pattern has been graded for a unisex fit. The grading assumes that the bicep measurement and bust measurement increase at the same rate. For those with smaller upper arms and a larger full bust measurement this may create excess fabric around the upper arm and may not be the fit one desires.
- The pattern has been test knit and fully tech edited; however, some errors may still exist. I welcome your polite and engaged feedback at ebeforever@gmail.com.
