This blanket was made and given to a very special 12-year old little boy who was fighting Leukemia. His name was Dylan. Sadly, he lost his battle just days after receiving his blanket. His mom, a good friend of my daughter-in-law, cherishes having this blanket to honor his memory….

1. I used Hobby Lobby’s, I Love This Yarn in shades of gray, blue and white and a 6.0mm hook.
2. The blocks use SC and Popcorn stitches; the border uses SC, HDC, DC and TC stitches.
3. I have included written instructions for each graph, as well as each graph.
4. The PDF pattern is 32 pages.
