Thankful - A Trio of Mitts
This time of year, when the air turns crisp and beautiful colors inspire our knitting, we turn toward the holiday time of family and friends. Thankful for being loved and having people to love and care for, knitting gifts is one way of showing our gratitude.
I’m reminded of how thankful I am for my dear friends I’ve met through knitting. Over the years and across the miles, knitters come from all walks of life, with stories and families and happiness and hard times. We knit to share our compassion for those struggling, and our joy for life’s blessings.
Knitting is so much about friendship and connections. This pattern was inspired by the ongoing love of knitting and sharing, of making something warm and useful from a bit of wool and some tiny sticks. For ourselves, and those we love.
