Texturity
Texture abounds in this asymmetrical shawl. It begins and ends with a small, easy textured stitch and features a middle textured section created by a twisted lift stitch. Applied icord defines the increase edge and an icord bind off completes the final edge. Texturity looks great in both semi-solid yarns and hand painted or variegated yarns. Knit with 1 skein (as shown) or use two skeins for a larger shawl. Keep track of how much yarn you’ve used and switch sections following the percents given in the pattern.
This pattern is perfect for an advanced beginner or an experienced knitter who loves texture and wants an easy knit! Skills used include knit, purl, k2tog, kfb, slipped stitches, lifted stitches, and applied icord. Detailed instructions are given for the lifted stitches and applied icord.
