Textured Tote Bag
This roomy tote will expand to accommodate lots of stuff. The gnarly textures are accentuated by the use of the tape yarn. If you desire a lining, I suggest ironing on a backing of nonwoven fusible interfacing fabric. This stabilizes the piece and no sewing is required. This natural yarn can withstand the heat of a pressing iron.
This may be temporary, but, there is a preview of this book including this pattern at the Interweave address.
Oct 26, 2013. I am making this pattern and found two errors in the pattern. Page 76, stitch guide the first crossing explanation should be 3/3LC, instead of RC.
Page 77 in the chart, the red borders referring to the body pattern, the right side red line should be moved 3 stitches to the right, since as it stands, the pattern repeat is only 30 sts and doesn’t match the written directions.
Another issue: the pattern repeat is for 12 rounds, but the chart repeat contains 13 rounds, so one has to either omit round 13 or round 1. sproutsnknits
