This project was inspired by the Tons of Techniques Tote retreat. Although only one option for the cable pattern is provided, the concepts covered in the pattern can be implemented with any pattern stitch.

We encourage you to get creative with both your stitch patterns and your bag shapes.

Gauge is provided, but matching gauge is not required. Be advised, however, that the finished dimensions of your bag will vary based on changes in your gauge, as will the yardage required.

24 sts and 32 rows = 10 cm (4”) in Stockinette (NOTE: The gauge is taken in stockinette stitch even though the pattern is done in a variety of stitches)
