Shown as a slouchy here, simply remove one pattern row repeat (instructions included) and you will have knit a classic beanie.

Materials: slouchy 180, 200, 220m dk weight yarn, sample shown was knit with Reywa Embrace, 100 % yak down, beanie, 140, 160, 180m dk weight yarn; 3.5mm (#3US) circs; 4.0mm (#6US) circs and dpn’s; markers; and a cable hook.

Gauge: lightly blocked 1 pattern repeat (12 sts) equals 2.25 inches
