Finished bust measurement: 109 (119.5, 129.5, 139.5, 150, 160, 170, 180.5, 190.5)cm / 43 (47, 51, 55, 59, 63, 67, 71, 75)“ – to be worn with up to 33cm / 13” positive ease.
Model has 104cm / 41” bust, stands 162.5cm / 5’4” tall and is wearing a size 4.
Yarn: Shibui Knits Pebble (light fingering / 3-ply weight; 48% recycled silk, 36% fine Merino, 16% cashmere; 205m / 224yds per 25g skein)
Shades:
Yarn A: Ivory (2004); 3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7, 8) skeins
Yarn B: Tango (2037); 1 (2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3) skeins
Gauge: 25 sts & 38 rows = 10cm / 4” over St st on 3.25mm needles after blocking.
26 sts & 50 rows = 10cm / 4” over Chart A on 3.25mm needles after blocking.
Needles: 3.25mm / US 3 circular needle, 40cm
/ 16” length for the neckline AND 60-80cm / 24-32” length (depending on chosen size) for the yoke and body, AND knitting needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round

Notes: Tesserae is a circular yoke top knitted in one piece in the round from the top down. Two Latvian braids run along the edges of the yoke to finish the neckline and the armholes. The body is worked in a mosaic pattern: it alternates 2 colours every other row, with a combination of slipped stitches.
