The Tessellation Cloth is a dishcloth with a bit of a challenge to it and a satisfying reward at the end.

Its interlocking geometric texture tessellates across the fabric, giving you a cloth that is genuinely interesting to knit and lovely enough to leave out on the counter.

A great pick when you want more than a plain washcloth, whether as a special handmade housewarming gift or simply a more engaging project for an experienced knitter.

Worked in absorbent cotton, it is as practical as it is pretty.

Skill level: Intermediate

Techniques: worked flat, textured stitch pattern, centered double decreases (p3sso)

As an early childhood educator, I believe a good challenge is its own kind of play. There is real satisfaction in watching a tricky stitch pattern resolve into a clean, repeating design, the grown-up version of a puzzle clicking into place, and this cloth delivers exactly that quiet reward.
