This hat was inspired by Julie’s hat in the movie Julie and Julia. It is a small slouch hat and worked in the round with bulky weight yarn.

Being a quick knit, it is a great gift idea!

I used the magic loop method to knit the samples that I knit for the pattern. That way I didn’t have to find size US 11 double point needles. If you use a 16 inch circular, you will need to have double point needles when you start your decreases.

The only additional equipment needed will be a stitch marker, tapestry needle and ruler.
