This pattern uses the basic idea of my Ten Stitch Twist Blanket to knit a round cushion cover. You start by working a flat circle that’s a bit bigger than your cushion pad and then shape it to cover the other side of the pad.

You are working a ten stitch strip of knitting, joining it as you go along. You do have to knit the final, closing circle in the middle of the back separately but, apart from that, it’s all worked in one piece.

My cushion is 30 cm / 12” in diameter but you could adapt the pattern for other sizes and also use different yarn.
