Following on from my adult Ten Stitch Hat, this pattern is for two different sizes of baby hats. They are both knitted in thin, 4 ply yarn, using 2.75 mm / US size 2 needles.

The small hat has a circumference of about 30 cm / 12” and the big one 38 cm / 15”. You will need about 20g of yarn for the small hat and 30g for the bigger one.

The hats are worked in a spiral from the top down. You never have more than ten stitches on your needles and they are knitted in garter stitch throughout. Your ten stitch strip is joined as you go so each hat can be worked in one piece.

All my ravelry patterns are free to download but, if you enjoy them, please consider making a donation to the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation, a charity which funds research and supports the families of children with a liver disease.
