Temple Scarf
Yarn: Lana Grossa “Orsetto” (75 m 82 yd per 50 gr 1.76 oz), bouclé yarn 60% Merino, 40% Alpaca); 350 m 383 yd; = 5 balls.
and Lana Grossa “Cool Wool Big” (120m 131 yd per 50 gr 1.76 oz), DK-weight yarn; 100% Merino; 10 m 11 yd; = 1 ball.
My sample is knit in Lana Grossa “Orsetto” in colourway 16 (off-white) and “Cool Wool Big” in colourway 0924 “dark red”.
Needles: 5.5 mm/US9 or needle sizes used to obtain gauges
Blocked gauge: 12 sts and 19 rds = 10 cm 4” in stockinette stitch in “Orsetto” with 5.5 mm/US9 needles (or needle size used to obtain gauge)
Notions: Tapestry needle
Construction notes: The Temple Scarf is worked in rows back and forth, starting with increases forming a shallow curve and then moving straight forward before ending in a shallow curve. Details are worked by threading contrast color yarn through the knitted fabric.
