Temo
Temo-hat is worked in the round from the brim up. You can choose a straight or sloped brim shaped with short rows.
Sizes
S, M, L, to fit head size 50-52, 54-56, 58-60 cm/ 20, 22, 24 inches).
Finished measurements
Brim finished circumference non stretched 35.5, 38, 40.5 cm/ 14, 15, 16 inches.
Body finished circumference 48, 52, 56 cm/ 19, 20.5, 22 inches.
Height approximately 23 cm/ 9 inches.
Yarn
100 g of DK or worsted weight yarn, app. 206 m (225 yds) per 100 g. The sample was knitted with madelinetosh Tosh DK in colourway Charcoal (100% Merino), 206 m/ 225 yds per 100 g and used 80 g.
Needles & notions
3.75 mm/ US 5 and 4.50 mm/ US 7 (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer for magic loop) circular needle, or set of four DPNs or size to obtain gauge
markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Gauge
20 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4 x 4 inches with bigger needles in pattern after blocking.
The pattern has both written and charted instructions (the crown isn’t charted).
