Temblor Mittens
by Annie Watts
Temblor Mittens feature staggered stripes meant to mimic the tectonic shifts of an earthquake, or “temblor”. Worked up in two colors of DK weight, these mittens leave room for playing with fun, interesting color pairings while the simple stitch pattern makes for an easy straightforward knit.
Done fully in garter stitch, the cuffs are worked in a smaller gauge for a snug fit. Looser gauge in the body makes for a nice flexible fabric.
