Corrections made on 1/26/2011, to the Top Decreases of the Newborn size hat. If you have purchased the pattern after this date, you will have the following already corrected on the pattern.

I am sorry for any inconvenience or frustration that the mistake has caused.

ERRATA:
On page 4 under the “Top Decrease” section.
Row 3 has errors, it should read:
Newborn: Row 3 (RS): * K4, K2tog, * repeat between * ‘s across row. (60 sts)
3 - 6 months: Row 3 (RS): * K2, k2tog, * repeat between * ‘s across row. (48 sts)
The remaining directions have both sizes written together.

For the 5 to 10 lb size you will use the size 3 US and 4 US needles.
For the 3 to 6 months size you will use the size 7 US and 8 US needles.

Worsted weight yarn is used for both sizes. One 220 yard skein will make the smaller size and 2 will make the larger size.

Sweater is knit from the top down, with very little finishing needed when finished.

Two buttons are used for the closure, but extra’s can be used to embellish the hat.
