These would make great shower gifts, especially if you don’t know the sex of the new baby to be. This would look adorable on a boy or a girl. They work up really quickly and even a beginner would have no problem whipping this up.

The yarn is super soft and you wouldn’t have to worry about the baby being uncomfortable during the photo shoot.

You will be using the following stitches to complete your project:
dc, sc, sl st, increase and decrease

You will need the following items to complete this project:
tapestry needle
thread and needle to sew the buttons to the diaper cover
2 buttons for diaper cover

You will use most of the light and lofty yarn and a wee bit of super saver yarn (for the trim)
