Tectonic Convertible Cowl
The Tectonic Cowl can be worn over 5 different ways and can be customized to fit your style and mood. Named after the ever-shifting plates of the Earth’s crust, these bold stripes shift in every section. Since it is crocheted in six equilateral triangle sections there is a 45 degree bias. This allows for quite a bit of stretch, comfort and drape. This cowl is sure to cause quakes anywhere you go.
Supplies:
G- hook
Fingering weight yarn - 395 yards each of two colors.
note: I used Anzula Luxury fibers: Sebastien 1 skein each of two contrasting colors. Avocado and Elephant. I started each section with the opposite color that I ended the previous section with.
10- ¾” buttons in contrasting or complimentary color.
Gauge: 20 stitches by 20 rows = 5” relaxed square.
