Tea with the Dowager Countess (Crochet Version)
by Jessica Cook
I was inspired by the PBS Masterpiece series “Downton Abbey.” If I had tea with the Dowager Countess, I’d like to think she’d appreciate this cozy I crocheted using yarn inspired by Violet herself!
This is a crocheted teapot cozy worked side to side to create ribbing. Add chain stitches to tie the cozy to your teapot and keep it secure.
Using bulky weight yarn and a size 6.5mm crochet hook makes this a VERY simple and fast project! It used much less than 100g of yarn for the 2-cup size. This would be a great pattern for handspun yarn as well!
Find this pattern on the Phat Fiber Secret Site in April 2012 only.
