Hc41 Tea Cup Hat

A two colour fairisle hat knitted in 8ply/DK yarn, topped off with a possum pompom. The main colour was dyed with tea bags creating a beautiful caramel colour, this is where the name Tea Cup Hat is derived.

The pattern has two versions, knitted flat on straight needles or on the round on double pointed needles.

TENSION: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm 4 ins over stst on 4 mm (6 US) needles.

MEASURMENTS:
Small/Medium - 53 cm (21 ins)
Large - 58.5 cm (23 ins)

Recommended yarn - 8ply Merino
MC – Tea 1 1 50 gm Balls
C1 – Natural 1 2 50 gm Balls

One pair each size 3.25 mm (3 US) and 4 mm (6 US) knitting needles or one set each size 3.25 mm (3 US) and 4 mm (6 US) double pointed needles and possum pompom.
