My popular Outlier pattern but knit from the top down in a lighter-weight yarn.

Skills required:
• Long-tail cast-on
• Working in the round
• Increases
• Short rows in garter stitch (no need to pick up the wraps)

Measurements:
• Circumference at top - 24.4”
• Circumference at widest point - 48”
• Depth in front - 23”

Materials:
• Approximately 700 yards of light worsted or DK weight yarn. Sample was knit in the Little Grey Sheep’s Hampshire DK in the colorway Deep in Thought
• US 5/3.75 mm circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge. You will need a 24” cable to start but a 32” cable will be needed as the rounds get larger
• Needles a couple of sizes larger than gauge needles for binding off
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
