Meet Tau the Crochet Lion Lovie.

Using the hook and yarn specified, the lovie (comfort blanket) will be between 27 cm (10.5”) and 35 cm (13.5”) square.

The head can be placed in the very center of the blanket, in one of the corners (which I like the most) or top center.

The legs are also optional.

This pattern is suitable for Advanced Beginners. It has been written using US Terminology, but you can find a basic comparison chart here. The pattern includes tons of photos, as well as links to additional help.
