The Tate pattern is a high-neck pullover featuring an overall Knit 3, Purl 3 ribbing pattern with a large cable section worked up both the front and back to the collar. The collar is picked-up from the body and knit in the finishing stages. The cable pattern is written-out, not charted. The sweater has set-in sleeves and a straight body.
Yarn requirements are given for 2 of Jaeger’s yarns: Aqua or Trinity, with their associated needle requirements.

YARN REQUIREMENTS: Double Knitting, Light-weight yarn.
Aqua – 1380 (1495, 1610, 1610, 1725, 1840) yds / 12 (13, 14, 14, 15, 16) balls or Trinity – 1519 (1519, 1736, 1736, 1736, 1953) yds / 7 (7, 8, 8, 8, 9) balls.
SHOWN IN: Jaeger Aqua, #301, Creme (natural).
NEEDLES REQUIRED: Aqua: US 2.5 (3.0mm) and US 5 (3.75mm) needles or Trinity: US 3 (3.25mm) and US 6 (4.0mm) needles.
ADDITIONAL GUAGE INFORMATION: 26 sts and 30 rows in 4” over K3, P3 rib pattern.
