Tarleton Shawl
The Tarleton Shawl is a top-down shawl worked in three pie-shaped sections which helps the shawl sit nicely on the shoulders. Inspired by many long, family road trips in the car, I wanted to create a fun yet simple shawl that could be put down and picked up quickly and easily without fuss. The detailed edging adds a bit of interest that will keep the knitter’s interest.
Skill Level: Advance Beginner/Intermediate
Finish Measurement: 63” x 17” (blocked)
PATTERN NOTES
The shawl is worked from the top-down in St st with YO increases at 4 points on the RS, similar to raglan shaping. The lace edge combines drop stitches and crosses, finished with garter rows.
