This beautiful shawl + hat set, inspiredby the Gala Water and the Gala Mill Lade in Galashiels, Scottish Borders, is a great project, combining contrasting colours and using an easy slip st repeat to create a beautiful rippling effect!

Great for stash busting, the shawl only uses 2 skeins (1 in each colour) of 4ply / fingering weight yarn, and the hat uses approximately 100g (50g of each colour) of DK / Sport weight yarn.
The shawl size can be adjusted to any yarn amounts, as per the pattern instructions.
