Materials:
- Crochet cotton size 10: 1 (225-yd) ball white (A), 1 (150-yd) ball green (B) and 1 (300-yd) ball each shaded yellows (C) and shaded purples (D)
- 6-strand embroidery floss: 1 skein each purple, lilac, gold, aqua, and black
- Size 7 steel crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
- Size 10 steel crochet hook
- 9-1/2 inch diameter hem-stitched linen circle
- Embroidery needle
- Iron-on butterfly transfer
- Embroidery hoop
- Dressmaker’s carbon and ballpoint pen or pencil (optional)
Gauge: Pansy = 2 inches from tip of first lower petal to tip of 3rd lower petal
Butterfly is worked in surface crochet and French knots.
