The pattern includes both written directions and a chart. There are alternate choices for either knitting the cords or crocheting them.

There was a typo in the written instructions for Row 13 which has since been corrected. If you downloaded the pattern before March 20, 2014, you’ll need to do it again to get the corrected version. A big thank you to Wenditouie who obviously has sharper eyes than I do!
