Design
This pattern is a great and memorable pattern.
The design is a toe up using a stocking stitch heel and a gusset heel.
For a subtle pattern detail, why not try a variegated yarn, or for a more “stand out design” go for a solid yarn.
I have provided the pattern in three sizes
Sizes
Small: 36-38 (3-5 UK)
Medium: 39-42 (6-8 UK)
Large: 43-48 (9-11 UK)
Foot length:
Small ( 9”/23cm)
Medium ( 10”/25.5cm)
Large ( 11”/28cm)
Foot circumfarences:
Small (7”/18cm)
Medium (8”/10.5cm)
Large (9”/23cm)
Gauge:
32 sts x 48 r over 4”/10cm Stocking Stitch on 2.25mm ndls when blocked.
Needles and notions:
Circular needles, 2.25mm (or size to obtain gauge) 80cm cable (for magic loop), Cable Needle, Darning needle to weave in ends, stitch markers
Test knitters’s quote on the pattern.
I love this pattern, it has such a clever use of simple stitches that creates a beautiful textured symmetrical design, that cannot fail to amaze knitters of all levels.
