Sybil Turtleneck
The Sybil Turtleneck is a split-hem jumper with a snuggly turtleneck, made almost entirely out of granny squares. With straight sleeves, featuring a cute turned cuff, this jumper is taking granny square sweaters to a new level!
I went for a strict colour scheme for this project, but it would look so great as a scrap buster—using up all those pesky ends of DK yarn you have lying around! Yarn A is used to add length to the body and sleeves as well as the neckline and wrist ribbing, so choosing the same colour ensures they blend seamlessly. However, versions with a mix of main colours look absolutely fantastic too!
This garment is worked in panels and therefore requires seaming to join. It is an intermediate pattern, but I encourage confident beginners to have a go!
Bust sizes given as XS (S/M, L/XL, 2X/3X, 4X/5X): 92 (115, 138, 161, 184) cm requiring a total of 1241 (1719, 2119, 2437, 2845) metres of DK-weight yarn, of which: Yarn A: 606 (856, 1053, 1245, 1449) metres, Square yarn: 634 (863, 1066, 1192, 1395) metres
This pattern is available in both UK & US terminology so you don’t have to translate stitches!
