Swoosh!
Two triangular shawls joined together to create a poncho, a cover-up or dress – so very versatile. The undulating alternate stocking stitch and reverse stocking stitch give a wonderful wavy 3D design to the garment. Easy to knit with lots of knit stitch and purl stitch and yarn over to mark the central ‘spine’ of the shawl.
The back and front ‘shawl’ are worked both alike. Starting at the central spine section working outward, the yarn over method is used to form increases and defines the central spine. Uncomplicated and effortless to make – a rhythmic pattern repeat which is soothing to work.
The Swoosh! is knitted in our LIGHT SILKY (alpaca and silk), truly soft luxury. I suggest you block; wet thoroughly, lie out on a towel to dry naturally, making sure to pull out to define shape but till retaining the 3D texture.
Enjoy
