Switha Cushion
This simple stitch pattern is often used used in fishermen’s ganseys. The pattern is pleasing on both sides of the fabric. Either can be used as the right side.
Materials
100 (150, 200, 300) g aran weight yarn
pair 6 mm (US 10) needles
5 mm crochet hook for finishing
12 (14, 16,18)” square cushion pad
3 (4, 5, 5) buttons ½” diameter
size
To fit: 12 (14, 16, 18)” cushion pad
Tension
15 sts and 24 rows to 4” over pattern after washing and blocking
