These shortie, or ankle, socks are worked from the top down with a band heel and rounded wedge toe. The socks feature a zigzag pattern down one side of the foot and the socks are mirror images of each other.

The pattern is written in needle neutral terms and can be worked on dpns or with the magic loop method on long circular needles.

Required Skills: basic knit and purl stitches, repetitive stitch patterns, knitting in the round
