Switchback Scarf
Bold striped triangles in lace weight wool and silk/stainless steel with accents of lace weight alpaca, Switchback is the perfect little something to relieve the doldrums of your winter wardrobe. The stainless steel will make a softly sculptural accent while the wool adds warmth and the alpaca a pop of softness and color.
Composed of six triangular mini shawls knit from the center outward and “seamed” together with a three needle i-cord bind off and finished with an i-cord edging switchback is tailor made to keep an intermediate knitter engaged.
Yarn Requirements
One 50g skein of Isager Wool 1 in each of 3 colors, sample shown in #0 (natural white), #2s (light natural gray) and #30 (black).
One 50g skein of Isager Alpaca 1, sample shown in #16 (chartreuse)
One 10g skein of Isager Silk/Stainless Steel in each of 3 colors, sample shown in black, brown and gray.
