Materials:
One skein worsted weight yarn (Lion Wool-Ease is perfect)
No. 3 DPNS (set of 4)
Pair of straight No. 3 needles

Worked in the round starting at center of crown. Increases create the ‘swirley’ shape.

Switch to working flat ribbing (in rows). Finish with I-cord ties.

Ed. note: Size is not provided in this vintage pattern. Try on the hat as you go to adjust as needed for a good fit.
